Welcome to Grandparent Names
Everyone has a different name they call their Grandparents. Yep, its true that some of us use the same ones, calling our Grandmother, well, "Grandmother" or "Grandma" and our Grandfather, "Grandfather" or "Grandpa". These are the obvious and probably most popular names we call our Grandparents, but there are so many uniquely different names. Please share the names you call your Grandparents with us.

My mom's parents are Meemaw & Papa for us girls, and my cousins call them Nonny & Papa
My grandson calls me "Maw-Maw" and my husband is called "GrandDad". My dad is his Paw-Paw and my husbands Dad is "Pappy"
Well, I am now 28, I also have a brother 7 years older than me. When we were younger we called our grandparents ma-maw and pa-paw! It has now grown to our children, and now thats what they call our parents. It is very unusual and have only heard it one other time. Since our grandfather is still alive they verify them by using them as ma-maw or papaw and there last name. I like it, and think it is unique, because when I refer to that, ppl always say "who r u talking about" and we have to explain that is what we call our grandparents.
me and my family all call my mother either MamaBach, or Grams.
My grandson will call us gigi and pops. I never wanted the common names of grandparents. Hopefully he will be here in a few weeks..he is due Aug 20. :0)
I call my grandpa grandpa and granpa grumpand my nans nannie. My nephew calls his grandpa (my dad) gang gang ga ga.Its really cute my dad made it up for him.He calls my mom nannan she alsomade it up for him. ARRRHHHH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
